For 50 years, the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (EI) has been the leader in providing training solutions to the hospitality industry worldwide.

EI collaborates with hotel management companies, individual properties, restaurants, sporting and gaming clubs, casinos, cruise ships and all branches of the U.S. military to develop programs for consistent organization-wide training for all levels of personnel. Designations from line level to general manager, including the prestigious CHA--the Certified Hotel Administrator designation--are earned through a combination of experience and education.

Additionally, EI has an entire academic division that develops course materials for 1,200 two- and four-year hospitality schools worldwide, and distance learning programs offering college-level hospitality courses on a homestudy basis through the Internet and by mail.

EI extends its reputation around the globe to serve the needs of learning institutions and hotel organizations by having more than 120 licensed EI affiliates in 45 countries. EI also has an official office in India, and holds exclusive license agreements in 17 countries connecting EI's research and expertise to hospitality operations throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
